Rezzy ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by The Fuse Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and AI-powered resume and cover letter platform (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.

2.2 Profile Data

You may provide additional profile information including your phone number, address, professional summary, work experience, education history, skills, projects, certifications, awards, languages, and personal URLs. This data is used to generate and tailor your resumes and cover letters.

2.3 Resumes and Cover Letters

When you create or upload a resume or cover letter we collect the PDF files you upload, the job descriptions you provide, and any additional context such as company name, recipient details, and custom instructions. We also store the AI-generated output including compiled PDFs, LaTeX source files, and structured JSON data.

2.4 Scoring and Chat Data

When you use our resume or cover letter scoring features we process the documents and job descriptions you submit to generate scores, feedback, and recommendations. When you use the AI chat feature to edit resumes we collect your messages and the resulting document changes.

2.5 Billing Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your credit card number or banking details. We receive and store your subscription status, plan details, trial usage, and renewal or cancellation dates from Stripe.

2.6 Usage and Analytics Data

We use PostHog to collect analytics data including page views, clicks, and other interactions with the Service. When you are logged in we associate this data with your user ID, email, and name to improve the product experience. PostHog may use cookies or local storage to maintain session context.

2.7 Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies to manage your authentication session (via Supabase) and to remember your interface preferences such as sidebar state. Session storage is used temporarily to pass scoring results between pages and is cleared after viewing.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Generate, tailor, and score resumes and cover letters using AI based on your profile data and the job descriptions you provide.
• Provide the AI chat feature for iterating on your resumes.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features, fix bugs, and enhance the overall Service.
• Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and Service updates.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following categories of third-party service providers that help us operate the Service:

• Supabase – authentication and session management.
• Stripe – payment processing and subscription management.
• PostHog – product analytics.
• Google – OAuth authentication when you choose to sign in with Google.
• AI Service Providers – your resume content, cover letter content, and job descriptions are sent to AI models hosted by our backend to generate and improve your documents.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rezzy, our users, or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data, profile information, resumes, and cover letters for as long as your account is active. Scoring results stored in session storage are automatically cleared after you view them. If you delete your account we remove your profile, resumes, cover letters, trial data, and cancel any active subscriptions. We also delete your authentication record from Supabase.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data by deleting your account from the Settings page or by contacting us.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Request a portable copy of your data.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16 we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
